Almost-Classic Green Tea

When fall weather takes over I get into hot-drink mode, craving anything from hot chocolate to green tea and a pumpkin spice latte to a chai tea latte. With not much time to spend making a drink, I decided to make green tea since it’s a very fast and easy tea to make. I added a lemon slice to give the tea a more citrus flavor and it was a great addition! This is a no-mess recipe, so whether you’re heading out and want a hot drink to take with you or you’re searching for a drink to sip while reading your favorite book, this recipe is for you!

Ingredients:

  • about 1 1/4 cups hot water
  • one green tea bag
  • one lemon slice
  • a spoon honey

Method:

Pour the hot water into a mug, and add the green tea bag, honey, and lemon slice. Let seep for about five minutes before removing the lemon slice and tea bag. Enjoy by itself or with a slice of Banana Bread!
